Commitment to sustainability

At Rymel, we are strongly committed to sustainability and energy efficiency, aligning our actions with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Our solar plant is an example of how we implement clean energy in our operations, reducing our carbon footprint and promoting a more sustainable future.

Photovoltaic plants

We have two photovoltaic plants that together have an installed capacity of 850.76 KWp. Thanks to this infrastructure, we generate between 35% and 40% of the energy we consume in our productive activities, significantly reducing our dependence on conventional energy sources.

System efficiency

To guarantee the efficiency of the system, our maintenance team monitors the generation of energy daily through technological tools in real time, ensuring the optimal operation of the plant. In addition, we perform cleaning and preventive maintenance every six months, prolonging the life of the solar panels and maximizing their performance.

Sustainable approach

In addition, our facilities have been designed with a sustainable approach. We incorporate prismatic domes on the roofs of our production plants, which capture, multiply and distribute natural light throughout the day, reducing lighting energy consumption to almost zero. On days with less radiation, we have an efficient lighting system, where 75% of our lighting fixtures are LED, optimizing the use of electrical energy.
