Integral management of discharges

Wastewater Treatment Plants:
Responsible Water Resource Management

At Rymel, we reaffirm our commitment to sustainability and environmental protection through efficient wastewater treatment systems. We have two plants designed to ensure the proper management of water resources, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and current environmental regulations.

01

Domestic Wastewater Treatment Plant

Our domestic wastewater treatment plant (DWTP) operates with an activated sludge system with extended aeration. This process allows us to efficiently treat water from bathrooms, locker rooms, dining rooms, kitchens, and laundry rooms, ensuring its proper purification.

The system has several treatment stages, including grease traps, septic tank, solids screening, equalization tank, activated sludge reactor, high-rate clarification, sand bed filtration, and a disinfection process. These phases guarantee the elimination of contaminants and compliance with environmental standards, promoting the care of water and its proper management within our operations.

02

Industrial Wastewater Treatment Plant

Our industrial water treatment system (ARI) is designed to efficiently manage the discharges generated in the painting and repair processes. Operating through a combined treatment of physicochemical processes in batches, this system includes neutralization, oxidation, sedimentation and filtration stages, ensuring the effective removal of pollutants.

With this approach, we guarantee responsible wastewater treatment, minimizing environmental impact and ensuring compliance with current regulations. At Rymel, sustainability is a fundamental pillar of our operation, and with these initiatives we actively contribute to the conservation of water resources and the well-being of our environment.
