Rymel History

Our History

We were born in 1977 under the name of Rymel, as a repair plant for
distribution transformers. Later, thanks to the experience and the analysis of results gathered from countless repairs, we started manufacturing distribution transformers. Today, we are a company with more than 300 employees at the service of people. We are driven to create together, both with our customers and our team, to offer innovative and quality solutions in the energy field.
We have new product lines, both in energy transformation and measurement; being leaders in the region for the market of conventional transformers, self-protected (CSP), pad-mounted, dry transformers, resin encapsulated, current transformers (CT's) for low and medium voltage, and potential transformers (PT's) for medium voltage. We are also representatives in Colombia of the Slovakian energy meter manufacturer APPLIED METERS.
We are committed to innovation and excellence, working together with our customers and collaborators to create solutions that make a difference in the energy sector.
