Used Transformer Collection and Management Systems (WEEE)
In Rymel Ingeniería Eléctrica S.A.S., we care about the environment. For this reason, we have developed an integral system for the collection and management of used transformers, ensuring their correct disposal and minimizing the environmental impact.
This system applies exclusively to Rymel distribution and metering transformers, as long as they comply with the established requirements.
Harvesting requirements
How to request collection?
1. Fill out the collection request form available on the web page. Providing information about the equipment and its location. Form
2. Attach to the application (form or mail) the gas chromatography of the equipment, which certifies that it is free of PCB.
3. Once the request is received, Rymel will contact the owner to coordinate the logistics and collection of the equipment.
4. The equipment will be transported to Rymel's facilities.
5. Once the equipment is received, Rymel will apply qualitative tests to confirm the absence of PCBs and will send to the owner a receipt indicating the quantity in units or approximate weight (kg) and date of receipt.
6. In the event that possible PCB contamination is identified, the equipment will be returned to the owner and the owner will be responsible for the logistical costs.
7. Rymel will evaluate the possibility of using the equipment or any of its components. In case it is not possible, the equipment or its parts will be delivered to an authorized manager for the treatment and use of WEEE.
8. Within a maximum period of 90 days from the collection of the equipment, Rymel will deliver to the manufacturer the final certificate of use of the equipment.
